Our Studio Suite has been designed as a comfortable, relaxing space for a couple. We have lived in this family home for many years, originally purchased by my parents 45 years ago.
You will be personally greeted upon arrival, and as we live on site, any questions or information about our beautiful area can be quickly answered.
Located in Metchosin on the outskirts of Victoria, our sea side home is 30 minutes from the airport and the famous Butchart Gardens and 45 minutes from the BC Ferries Swartz Bay terminal. There are 3 golf courses minutes away – the Olympic View Golf Course, the Bear Moutain Resort Golf Course and the Metchosin Golf course. Witty’s Beach, a long, shallow beach perfect for kiddies and adults alike is a 5 minute walk away. Easy access down to our quiet cove, where seals regularly bask on the rocks and eagles frequently soar overhead. The main shopping area is 10 minutes away in Langford and there are many restaurants within a 15 minute drive.
Nearby, Sooke is renown for Fishing Charters - here, salmon is king. Other attractions are whale watching - the resident Orca pods and between May - October, the transient Orca whales are in the area. We also have the grey whales during their Spring migration north and the Fall, during their return to the Southern waters.
We are 10 minutes from Royal Roads University and about 15 minutes from Pearson College.
We provide our guests with food for their first couple of breakfasts - 1 litre of milk (2%), selection of dry cereals, 1/2 doz eggs, bread (whole wheat), coffee, tea, 1/4# butter and 1 litre juice (orange). Please let me know if you have a preference, and I'll try to ensure they are met.
Our spacious 600 square foot studio suite is equipped with:
